Vice President & Senior Consultant
Rebecca began her career as a graphic designer but found her joy as a teacher where she shared her love of design with her students. In 2006, she moved to the Advancement Office at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, where she served as the Web & Brand Manager. She gained valuable experience in brand management for independent schools as well as extensive knowledge for designing in & around Blackbaud’s CMS, NetCommunity. Since 2008 she has worked for and with schools both public and private, as well as Nonprofit Garden’s full portfolio of mission-driven clients.
Rebecca’s expertise is in online solutions and web projects, including but certainly not limited to NetCommunity and WordPress. She excels at project implementation, management, and staff training. Clients repeatedly applaud her style of training & ability to bring even the most “technology phobic” staffers to a place of comfort so they can use their software without assistance.
What gets me out of bed in the morning:
Creativity – I love helping someone’s vision come to life. There’s no better feeling than discovering a client’s individual needs and matching that with the appropriate web strategy. The icing on the cake is when our creative team of designers present the solution that brings that vision to life.
What keeps me up at night:
Code! And trying to figure out how to do something that I’ve been told isn’t possible.
Rebecca is passionate about using strong design to advance her clients’ missions & creating unique solutions for their projects. She has earned the unofficial moniker “Email Queen” for her ability to design and code beautiful & nearly bullet-proof responsive emails regardless of whether they will be used in Constant Contact, MailChimp, Emma, NetCommunity or other software.
Rebecca has a BFA with specialization in Graphic Design from the University of Central Florida.
The Bigger Picture
Rebecca and her husband love the coastal life in Jacksonville, Florida. She’s a proud dog mom to a rescued Australian Cattle Dog mix, Skye Mercy, who lives for chasing squirrels & playing on the beach. In her down time, Rebecca loves volunteering with the SPCA, gardening, painting and up-cycling home decor.
